I came to the health insurance field with a 23-year background in hospitality management. I took what I learned there and applied it to my career as a health insurance agent. Even though they are two completely different fields, I still use the customer service skills I honed over the years I spent managing country clubs in what I do every day. 

When I started my career as a health insurance advisor, I was willing to work hard and learn. I hoped to do as well as I did in my previous career. The results surprised me…in a good way! In my first six months as a health care insurance agent, I made $50,000, and in my first year, I made more money than I ever did working in the hospitality industry. 

Sometimes my clients are almost at the point of tears because they’re so happy that I’ve helped them save so much money. There’s a high demand out there for trained advisors that are passionate about taking care of their clients, listening to them, and helping them stick to their budget when it comes to health insurance.
